Creating a Job Order/Position

  1. On the Edit Company screen, click the Position button. This will display the current open positions for this company.
  2. On the Position Search Results screen click the Add Position button at the top of the Position Search Results screen. Here you may enter the information concerning the open position into the given fields.
  3. Once you have entered all desired information, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Save button. If you have a prewritten position description/document, it can be pasted directly into the job description field.
  4. The next step is to attach a candidate to the position. On the name record screen of the desired candidate, click on the More button, and select Link to POS (which means Link to Position). This will display the Add Interview – Select a Position screen.
  5. On the Add Interview screen, search for the job order that you wish to link to by job title, etc. Once you find the correct job order, click it. This candidate is now linked to the job order.
  6. Now it is time to place the candidate. Return to the company that with the position, and click the Position button. You will now see the Edit Position screen. Click the Place button. If this is a permanent job placement, click the Permanent button. If it is a contract or temporary placement, click the Contract button.
  7. On the Add Placement screen, click the small List button, and select the candidate you wish to enter here. Once you have entered the appropriate information, click the Place button at the bottom of the screen. The job order is now complete, and the candidate it placed.
