They are seeking an individual to provide direct handling of the company’s construction defect claims.  The candidate must possess strong coverage and litigation management skills to appropriately manage claim file activities, budgets and claim outcomes while considering the overall impact to the customer and company.  Responsibilities of this position include coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of assigned claims.  Job duties will include communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, training, development, and providing leadership where requested.  In addition, the position may require travel to mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, trials, and other proceedings which may account for up to 20% of the specialist’s time.  This position reports to the Southern region.
