Job Description

Summary:


Design, implement, manage, and administer electronic records management systems.  Develop migration strategies to ensure integrity of records and related metadata for the required life cycle of the records and information systems.  Provide expertise on a project or request basis for records and information management issues. Research and address methodologies for records retention.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Lead the design of information management systems through translation of records processes into technical requirements.

Lead development of appropriate functional/technical requirements by interviewing stakeholders, analyzing and prioritizing responses and reviewing business processes to meet business needs. 

Design and implement the use of a system classification scheme.

Develop security classification framework, policies and procedures according to RIM best practices and organizational requirements.

Identify emerging technologies and trends to manage information assets.

Establish objectives and collaborate with IT to meet requirements related to the management of repositories.

Develop knowledge base materials including: job-aids, performance support tools, quick reference guides for both online and paper-based formats.

Primary Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree preferred.  CRM, ECM, PMP and other related certifications preferred.

A minimum of four years’ experience in a records / document management environment.

Experience with OpenText Content Server.

Experience in project management and related software tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Energy or Oil and Gas industry experience preferred but not required.

Highly functioning knowledge of PC technology and tools (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Databases, etc.)

Advanced communication skills along with analytical and problem solving abilities.

Self-motivated and team oriented. 

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management and staff.
