Job Description

Cutting Edge Connect, a technology-based executive search firm located in Chicago, is currently looking for a Full-Time Executive Search Partner for our Midwest operations.

The Executive Search Partner is responsible for business development, managing and executing on client projects and is the daily point-of-contact for hiring authorities throughout the contracted period.

Primary Responsibilities

Executive Search Partner will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Business Development and consulting with clients.
  • Setting expectations with the client on execution plan, activities and timelines.
  • Establishing an execution plan and allocate appropriate resources to allow for a productive candidate flow inclusive of working with: admin, searching job boards, researching social media sites for candidates and cold calling into companies.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish the “best fit” profile for the projects.
  • Work with candidates on video profiles, candidate summary and candidate presentations to clients.
  • Provide feedback to clients on project progress and making recommendations regarding other products and services that may be helpful to the client.
  • Responsible for setting up both phone and face-to-face interviews and candidate and client feedback after interviews.
  • Closing the candidate and client to make sure there is a right fit in terms of culture and compensation expectations.
  • Performing reference checks for final candidates as requested
  • Providing necessary documents for proper billing to clients. 

Basic Position Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in customer service, inside sales or consulting.
  • Willing to learn full lifecycle recruiting including, but not limited to; business development sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, salary trends and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience using Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) to screen, qualify and present candidates to assigned hiring managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to achieve competency in new industries qualify prospective candidates based requisition requirements.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial or chemical engineering sector preferred
