We are looking for an Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) with 4+ years of experience. Candidates must have good presentation skills and "show well" as they will be the technical liaison with customers. Will work without much supervision so must be a self starter, willing to travel to visit customers but still willing to roll up the sleeves and get dirty when needed (will do some process and design work).
The location of the operation is in the Brantford area. Salary range is $70 to 80K plus incentive and relo assistance if required. The Co is willing to invest in Product Training for the right candidate.

SR PRODUCT APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Engineering. Demonstrated ability to conduct statistical analysis, sampling methodologies, technical and interpersonal project management skills to practical operational problems and issues. Any experience with design, testing and validation of Power Transformers a plus. 6 Sigma Green or Black Belt would be an asset.
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Provides technical solutions to customers in the Power Transmission & Distribution as well as Power Generation industry. Actively participates in product and production development and operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Offers product knowledge and applications to customers and EGI personnel.
Works closely with the development team to develop low cost high performance products.
Focuses on technical details of customer specifications, designs and costs.
Personally leads internal process improvement initatives including, production performance, quality, cost reductions and safety
Internal expert in CTC construction and design

Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. Comprehensive understanding and practical application of instructional design methodologies and project management skills required.
