Now Hiring: IT Audit Senior Consultant

Due to high demand for our expertise in various markets, we are adding a new position to our team. This position can be based in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Lexington, or Columbus, OH.

 

The IT Audit Senior Consultant will be responsible for the examination and analysis of internal controls and business risks by performing IT audits, developing audit scope, executing procedures, and preparing audit reports.

 

Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements, including SOX/JSOX management testing, SSAE 16 (SOC I, II, III), IT controls (general and application) related to external audits, various internal audits, FDICIA IT Risk Assessments, HIPAA Security Risk Assessments, etc.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
• Identify and communicate IT audit findings and performance improvement opportunities to senior management and clients
• Proactively identify other areas of business initiatives or changes in the business and how those changes may translate into further opportunities for the firm
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients

 

Job Requirements:
• 4-8 years of experience in internal or external IT audit, risk assessment, business process, or compliance audit in a professional services/consulting environment
• University degree, preferably in accounting, IT, IS, AIS, Computer Science.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
• Poses one or more of the following certifications:  CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CIA
• Able to understand business process issues, understand business transaction scenarios, and how an application system supports business processes
• Good grasp of IT technical concepts, e.g., operating systems (Unix, Windows, OS/400, etc.), databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.), and network devices
• Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
• Ability to travel throughout Central/Southern Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana; travel up to 50% (mostly day trips) for the first 12-18 months while our team is in growth and development phase
