Job Description In your role as a Customer Service Supervisor, at Cost-U-Less (CUL), you provide a memorable customer shopping experience by ensuring each customer is greeted promptly and that each sale is processed accurately and efficiently. You develop and maintain a general familiarity with all products ensuring customer’s needs have been met and the sale complete. Assist in the development of a goal oriented team accountable for meeting company standards.

Your Role:

•Ensure that the front end meets or exceeds all standards of customer service, customer satisfaction, cashier accuracy, front-end presentation, and cleanliness;
•Provide superior customer service to each customer, answer phones quickly and in a friendly, professional manner, and communicate information on ads, coupon promotions, and Holiday Book (at appropriate time of year) to each customer;
•Regulate front end staff lunch breaks to ensure the proper staff levels are maintained to best serve the customers in an accurate, quick and safe manner and to ensure staff are returning from their lunch break promptly;
•Perform any task assigned by management or supervisory personnel, and adjust positively to change in direction or assignment; proven ability to comply quickly with new programs, methods, practices, and procedures;
•Continually monitor the proper handling of company funds throughout shift and ensure that the cashiers are following cash bleed procedures throughout each shift;
•In conjunction with the Customer Service Manager ensure that staff is prepared and able to work to their highest potential;
•Maintain a commitment to honesty, integrity, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times.

Desired Skills & Experience:

•Must be 18 years old with minimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience preferred;
•High School or Secondary School Diploma or a combination of experience and education, with basic math and reading skills required;
•Intermediate computer skills a plus and knowledge of Microsoft Office products 2007 and up;
•Strong human relations skills; has a pleasant disposition and is willing to smile and interact positively with others;
•Cooperate with other team members in a busy environment in a professional manner to accomplish the business goals;
•Able to anticipate and accommodate customers concerns and needs;
•Able to communicate in the local language(s)
•Possess a passion to excel and provide excellent customer service;
•Able to work well on your own or with a team;
•Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently to complete the entire task within time limits;
•Able to provide a clean police record where applicable by local regulations, and provide a current health certificate where applicable by local regulations;
•Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a consistent basis
