Human Resources Generalist
This position involves interaction with employees, supervisors and managers along with the members of the Human Resources, Payroll and Medical sections to provide the following essential functions to a busy manufacturing oriented workplace:
*Ensure consistent administration of policies/procedures and programs
*Support in addressing and resolving associate related issues
*Support of corrective action and performance management processes
*Handle all aspects of internal hiring and assist with external recruiting.
*Orientation of new hires
*Participation in various HR projects
*General HR administrative support
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
*Post secondary education in a related field
*Minimum 3 years experience as an HR Generalist preferably within a non-union manufacturing environment
*Comprehensive knowledge of legal and governmental requirements and regulations affecting HR functions Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software and HRIS systems.
*Excellent communication, organization, and human relation skills
*High degree of flexibility to support our changing needs
*Ability to work under pressure to handle a demanding and varied workload
*Excellent analytical skills
*A proven ability to multi-task Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
*Able to organize, coordinate and direct projects
*Demonstrated ability to meet commitments
