We are searching for a District Sales Manager to join our client's growing sales team in Provo, UT.

Basic responsibilities of the District Sales Manager include:
  • Interfacing with Customers
  • Converting estimates into printed price summaries, sales proposals and preparing contract documents
  • Responsible for selling steel grating products to existing and potential new customers
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and other Sales team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Assist in the preparation of sales bids and project quotations with estimator/sales staff, as well as follow-up on jobs that have been quoted
  • Keep Branch Manager advised of market trends, competitive price situations and similar market information
  • Attend construction industry related functions in the sales territory so company has full knowledge of market trends and so that good customer relations are maintained
  • Act as back-up and provide assistance to other members of the sales support team when required
Qualifications
  • 5 years of direct work experience in industrial sales , grating preferred
  • Knowledge of steel and steel related products required
  • High school diploma

Preferences:
  • 4 year BS or BA degree
  • Solid experience in relationship building, account development and time management
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Able to read structural drawings
