We are searching for a District Sales Manager for Colorado, Wyoming, E. Montana and W. Kansas join our client's growing team.

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for:
  • Marketing company products in the assigned district
  • Establishing annual sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve goals
  • Managing the development of builders, accounts, preferred partners and national account opportunities
  • Establishing geographical markets and monitoring company performance in indentified areas
  • Implementing effective builder recruitment and executing cancellations of non-performing builders
  • Establishing plans with each builder to improve market presence inclusive of company penetration, quality of in-place products and public image
  • Tutoring the distribution base on product utilization, quality and perceived value in the marketplace
  • Promoting attendance of builders to all training opportunities and company functions
  • Utilizing company marketing programs, and working with division sales managers to develop personalized training for self-improvement
Qualifications for the position include:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to drive, have valid driver's license and travel extensively when required
  • Must be willing to locate in the district
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Construction Industry. This experience can be as an erector, project manager, building representative or other related positions directly associated with a supplier of metal buildings.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct Metal Building Industry experience
  • Strong leadership/interpersonal skills; developing relationships based on trust and respect
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time resources in an unsupervised atmosphere
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management or Engineering is desirable.
