We are recruiting on behalf of a client company that is hiring this permanent position.

Position Summary:

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating sales leads, developing new opportunities, closing sales, growing the business profitability, and building lasting customer relationships. This is a Hunter type of sales position that requires someone with an outgoing personality, endless energy, positive attitude, drive to succeed, and passion for the business.

He/She will sell Document Conversion and Imaging Services, Information Management Services, Asset Tracking Solutions, Records Management and Relocation Services, Document File Inventory and Auditing Services, File Room Staff Outsourcing, and Advanced Capture Software to both the private and public sector in a three state sales region (Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri).

He/she will prospect, network, and cold call to uncover opportunities. Perform needs analysis and engage in information gathering to understand customer needs and then, in collaboration with a strong Inside Sales and Technical Support Team, develop a total Information Management Solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prospect / Hunt for new sales leads. Develop sales opportunities within core services offering.

Develop relationships, assess customer needs and develop appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with the Inside Sales and Technical support group to develop client solutions and quote projects.

Develop new customers, build relationships, negotiate and close profitable business.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases of the sales development cycle from initiation to implementation.

Build customer relationships and cultivate long-term partnerships through strategic conversations to understand business objectives and goals.

Be active within industry associations in the market to increase awareness, through attending trade shows, reviewing white papers and keeping current within market trends.

Develop and present sales plans, prepare sales forecasts, and provides timely updates to the business.

Maintains a deep knowledge of customer’s business trends.

Primary Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required in lieu of strong sales experience.

3+ successful years in Document Conversion, Imaging, and Information Management related Services.

Proven history of closing sales, exceeding goals, and over-achieving.

Strong written, oral and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Highly motivated and very organized.

Highly energetic with consultative sales experience.

Driven to succeed and motivated by a high earnings potential.

Ability to problem solve and translate customer needs into solutions.

Must be a team player with history of making smart business decisions.
