The Technical Sales Representative - Environmental position will have the following responsibilities:

·        Manage and set proper customer expectations with regard to product application, performance, delivery, and installation

·        Coordinate multiple Lincoln Sales offices with several key Environmental accounts

·        Make individual or joint sales calls with other Lincoln Electric Technical Sales Representatives

·        Present and discuss Weld Fume Control techniques, air flow requirements, and environmental related regulations

·        Develop and modify training programs, support materials, and computer and visual presentation programs of Weld Fume Control Products at various distributor and trade association events

·        Work closely with regional installation contractors to ensure Lincoln standards and performance

·        Provide telephone assistance to customers, distributors, and field sales support

·        Expand Lincoln presence with engineers and architects involved with the bid-spec market

·        Prepare quarterly target reports

·        Work on special projects that may be assigned by the Environmental Products Business Manager

·        Ability to travel and visit distribution partners, customer facilities, or other Lincoln entities



·        Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline

·        Must be familiar with, or willing to learn, theory and operation of all environmental products

·        Knowledge of general office procedures, methods, equipment, and practices

·        The ability to use various PC software packages and network systems

·        The ability to process figures and maintain neat and accurate records

·        Previous air handling/filtration experience or understanding HVAC principles is strongly desired

·        Ability to handle a constantly changing series of priorities

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to perform well as a team member and to meet deadlines as required

·        Must be willing to travel throughout North America


Minumum of 3-5 years of Technical Sales Engineering Experience Required
