Our client is a 5* International Chain Boutique Resort with +/-50 Villas and 3 F&B Outlets.
This role will be reporting directly to Expat Executive Chef.
Please note that this position is available for Vietnamese Nationals only.
• Establish quality standards for all menu items and for food production practices
• Look after the roster and ordering of local products
• Organize the outlet food orders and requisitions
• Organize any special dinners and events
• Supervise the team to ensure compliance to food & safety, hygiene standards are followed
• Responsible to check maintenance of all kitchen equipment’s
• Order taking and doing monthly inventory
• To implement new dishes for the menu
• High school and secondary qualifications
• Experience working at 5 star properties
• Must possess knowledge of all menu items in regards to ingredients, method of cooking and presentation
• Strong experience with Western and Vietnamese Food
• Knowledge in wellness food would be a plus
• Hygiene and cleanliness knowledge
• Operational awareness
• Knowledge in International Cuisine, Food ingredients and trends
• Consistency of food standards
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Physically fit and well groomed
• Good English both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership
• Self- motivated
• Cool tempered
• Polite and neat
• Shows Initiative
