Our client is a casual restaurant with an interesting & unique concept in Canggu, Bali.
This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager.
For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Recruit and manage kitchen staff
• Rectify arising problems or complaints
• Give prepared plates the “final touch”
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Proven working experience as a head chef
• Experience in free standing restaurant
• Familiar with Indonesia & western food
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with great eye for detail
• Ability to train subordinates
• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
• Good communication and spoken English skills
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Good financial and administration skills
• Energetic, dynamic, results oriented, motivated, hard working
• Experience with HACCP Standards
• Computer literate
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow staff alike
• A high standard of presentation and grooming at all times
• Readiness and ability to initiate action
• Mature, professional outlook
• Able to co-ordinate the day to day kitchen operations and liaises closely with the F&B service team
The range salary for Indonesian Nationals is IDR 17,000,000 - IDR 25,000,000.
