Our client is a 5* Hotel which is part of a large chain, located in Bangkok.
Please note that this position is available for Asian Expats only.
• Monitors food cost and work with the team to maintain food cost
• Ensures fresh and quality food products are bought and used in production
• Implements HACCP based SOP
• Ensures energy conservation programs are implemented in all kitchens
• Implements work practices that minimize spoilage and wastage
• Ensures menus are cost effective and in accordance with trends and market demands
• Monitors and controls food inventories
• Culinary school background
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous hotel experience not necessary but an advantage
• Well experienced running a busy and high volume operation
• Background and knowledge of all Kitchen operations and procedures
• Strong personality and work ethics
• Mature, professional outlook
• Experience with HACCP Standard
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership, tactical skills
• Good computer skills
• Computer literate
