candidate will be responsible for:
scopes of work and budgets and managing Phase I and II environmental site
assessments, remedial actions, and compliance monitoring with senior
technically accurate, complete and concise work plans based on evaluation
of site data needs.
or managing the implementation of project work plans including staff
briefing, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and sample collection.
well drilling over-site, logging, aquifer testing, groundwater modeling,
and statistical analysis.
analyzing and interpreting technical data relative to project-specific
goals, creating and interpreting accurate data display graphs and figures,
completing basic fate and transport analysis, providing statistical
evaluations of chemical data, and preparing technical reports.
data gaps and data needs leading to development of conceptual site models.
with and mentoring junior staff to ensure all resources are in place for
proper fieldwork and reporting execution.
and managing budgets, evaluating budget vs. plan and analyzing cost
with clients, third party and regulatory agents regarding project status,
schedules and compliance issues.
adherence to client and corporate contract specifications in all activities
including Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.
requires occasional travel.
A Bachelor's degree or higher
in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science with 1-5+ years of
related experience. Experience must include hands on field and office
based activities in environmental consulting. Specific experience on waste
management and/or industrial projects, groundwater assessments and
landfill compliance monitoring/ reporting is preferred.
Must possess excellent
communication and technical writing skills and be able to independently
prepare a complete deliverable report with a focus on QA/QC and an
attention to detail.
Must have a working knowledge of
regulations; Californiaregulatory knowledge is a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency with
Microsoft Office suite and Adobe required. Experience with
database/graphics management (Access, AquaChem, EQuIS, ChemStat, DumpStat,
Sanitas, GIS, MODFLOW, CAD, and geologic logging/cross section programs
such as GINT) a plus.
P.G. (California Professional
Geologist) is a plus.
Current OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER
training a plus.
