We are representing an interesting and very rare opportunity as Head Sommelier/Restaurant Manager for a 5* Boutique Resort with 20+ Villas and 3 F&B Outlets in Bali.
This role will not only be in charge of the Wine, but will also be overseeing the restaurant service in their new fine dining restaurant.
Note that this restaurant is still in pre-opening stage and will be opening within the next few months, the restaurant will be of a very high level of cuisine and service and will belong to the top in Bali.
For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.
• Experience in similar role
• Asia experience. Indonesia experience preferred
• Excellent skill and knowledge about Wine
• Manage all wine stocks, financials and cooperate with wine distributors
• Instruct and teach service staff on wine culture
• Ability and confidence to deliver Wine tastings
• Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests
• Able to oversee the restaurant service
• Passionate about exceeding guest expectations
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Computer literate
• Strong leadership skills and result oriented
• Well organized, energetic, hands-on and able to work independently
• Hard working and able to work efficiently under pressure
• Friendly with a positive attitude, enthusiastic
• Smart, charming, well groomed, healthy
• Willing to learn, eye for details
• Presentable and well spoken
• Good spoken and written English
