Our Client is an upscale Asian free-standing restaurant in a prime location in downtown Hanoi. The restaurant is still in pre-opening phase.
The position reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and the Owner.
For this position, both Expats and Vietnamese Nationals are being considered.
• Expert in Dim Sum with good experience in modern Chinese Restaurants
• Although a current Dim Sum Chef would be preferred, our client would also consider a young and talented #2 who is ready for the next step
• Experienced in menu engineering and creation of new Dim Sum dishes seasonally
• Good leadership and organizational skills with great eye for detail
• Ability to manage and direct the kitchen operations
• Maintain quality control over the products and the kitchen organization
• Build and maintain good relationship with suppliers
• Ability to train subordinates
• Good communication and spoken English skills
• Energetic, dynamic, results oriented, motivated, hard working
• Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow staff alike
• A high standard of presentation and grooming at all times
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekend and shift work, as dictated by business requirements
• Readiness and ability to initiate action
The salary and the package are negotiable based on experience and skills.
