COMMUNITY: A Community Health Center located in a large city in South Central Alaska is seeking a full time Physician.  Surrounded by six mountain ranges, the city has modern amenities in addition to being located in one of the most beautiful places in the country. Year round you can find adventure, recreation, seasonal festivities, sporting events and much more. A perfect location for an adventurer who enjoys outdoor activities during the day and excellent cuisine in the evening!

COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER/POSITION: Duties to include, participation in the development and maintenance of triage and guidelines for front desk team, staff nurses and nursing manager, maintaining a written collaborative relationship with collaborative midlevel practitioners, and participation in the yearly evaluation of peers and supervisors. This position will work under the general direction of the Medical Director. Board certification preferred; board eligible if new residency graduate. There may be travel within city to local hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities as required to manage patient care, participate on committees and/or represent clinical interests.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited medical school.  Completion of U.S.G.M.E. approved Residency program.  Must have or be eligible to obtain an Alaska medical license.  Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
