COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER/POSITION: Be a part of a dynamic, progressive community health care center where your skills and knowledge will give opportunity for individuals to receive quality health care. This health center seeks a Physician Assistant to improve the overall health of the community and to expand the availability of health care. The Physician Assistant will treat a mixed patient population, across gender, age and ethnicity, as well as insured and un-insured patients.

Duties include

·   Examining patients to determine general physical condition

·   Performing physical examinations and preventive health visits

·   Prescribing or recommending drugs or other forms of treatment under the direct supervision of a physician

·   Developing practice plans and a relationship with the supervisory physician

 

REQUIREMENTS: You must have a valid license in the state of Washington, graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant school, and be CPR/ACLS certified. You must be able to apply for prescriptive privileges and have the ability to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). In addition you must be board certified or eligible
