As the leading healthcare provider in southern West Virginia, a Community Hospital that insists on hiring the finest talent to meet the growing needs of the people of our region. As a result of this demand, we have an opening for a gifted Urologist that would meet our high standards. The right physician would be employed by Princeton Community Hospital, a 188 bed facility. Physician would be a member of the Medical Group, a growing multispecialty physician practice group of the hospital. Scope of urology service would be both inpatient and outpatient. Physician would have state of the art equipment and cystoscopy room at the ready with well trained and experienced staff to assist. Facility has an anesthesia team of five physicians and four CRNAs. Outpatient clinic setting is in close proximity to hospital allowing for maximization of physician’s time.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:  Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with a specialty in Urology. Completed Surgery residency in the United States. Urology fellowship or equivalent would also be expected.

Licensures:  Licensed by the State of West Virginia; eligible for Board Certification and valid DEA Certification.

Relevant Work Experience:  Three (3) or more post-doctoral years’ experience

 

Physicians in this position have access to verbal, written and/or electronic protected health information, as defined by HIPAA.

 

Employee Compliance Related Criteria:

• Adheres to the components of the Compliance Program.
• Ensures that job tasks are performed in a legal and ethical manner.
• Actively assesses work area for non-compliance issues and notifies Medical Director.
• Adheres to compliance training requirements and understands that training is required condition of employment.
• Participates in corporate and local quality and utilization management programs as appropriate.

 

Urologist

 

Physician Needed: Urology (Employed by Hospital) Inpatient and Outpatient practice

 

Anesthesia coverage: five physicians, four CRNAs

 

Average tenure of OR Staff is 23 years

 

Radiology and Pathology: Great support teams

 

Compensation Range:       Excellent Base

 

Incentive Plan:                    50% of collections above expenses (profit)

 

Signing Bonus:         Available

 

Relocation:              Yes

 

Paid Time Off:  26 days per year which includes holidays

 

CME: One week paid leave plus $3,000 reimbursement

 

Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability

 

Sick Leave of 8 days per year accrued

 

Hospital pays for National & State Associations, DEA, Medical License Renewal, etc.

 

Emergency call is one in three

 

Currently three urologists at hospital
