COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER/POSITION: This  Community Health Center has been a member of the community for thirty (30) years expanding it's facility in 2004 to nearly 40,000 square feet.  The clinic has 9 physicians, 7 mid-level providers, 4 dentists, 2 pharmacists and 1 behavioral health provider. We are a non-profit corporation governed by a community board whose mission is to provide high-quality care to traditionally underserved populations in the Central Columbia Basin. Known as a comprehensive “one stop shop” for our patients, we provide family medicine, pediatrics, general dentistry, pre-natal support services, social services, nutrition services, behavioral health and diabetes education, as well lab, x-ray and pharmacy services.  Our patient population is comprised of a high proportion of Spanish and Russian speaking individuals.

This clinic is seeking a provider who is compassionate and caring and who has the desire to serve underserved and migrant populations. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Provide comprehensive and equitable primary health care, including: preventive care, primary diagnosis and treatment, and inpatient (hospital based) medical care regardless of race, gender, national origin, any other basis protected by law and/or ability to pay. 

REQUIREMENTS: The qualified candidate must have a Medical Doctorate or Doctorate of Osteopathy from an accredited medical school, completion of an accredited US residency program and be licensed to practice medicine in Washington State including full prescriptive authority. In addition the candidate must be certified in a Primary Care Specialty or preparing for certification within one (1) year of employment. The current training certifications required: ACLS, NRP, PALS, BLS, ATLS, ALSO. Lastly it is important for the family physician to have a keen awareness and sensitivity to cultural and socio-economic diversity.
