| Job Description | MD Physician Pediatrics Hospitalist Jobs Incumbent will perform general history and physical examinations on patients in order to assess their health status, diagnose existing health problems and implement preventive medicine measures. Will perform routine screening exams on patients. Plan therapeutic regimens for patients that require treatment of acute illnesses and provide appropriate follow-up. Will assure timely management and referral for patients who do not respond to current treatment or in the event that advice or clinical input is needed. Will offer education and counseling to patients and employees concerning the results and meaning of examinations and tests and on preventive medicine strategies, particularly in regard to promoting health and well being. Qualifications: - Post-licensure professional experience in the general practice of medicine for a Pediatric population. -- Must have a permanent full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
