COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER/POSITION: This Central Washington Community Health Center is seeking one full-time Pediatrician. This position would provide oversight to family practice residents, other students of health professions and work with bilingual medical students. Tasks will include general, full scope primary care in an outpatient setting, in addition to inpatient hospital care (not including NICU), rotating with other pediatricians. This site has higher than average rates of childhood asthma and teen pregnancy. 80% of the patients are low income, 65% are Hispanic, half of the adult population is uninsured, and the clinic is the designated Health Care for the Homeless site providing 3,000+ visits/yr to homeless individuals. This organization is eligible for National Health Service Corps and Washington State Loan Repayment programs.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified applicants must have a MD/DO and be Board Certified. Candidates must also be fluent in English and Spanish. Experience is preferred but not necessary.
