POSTION SUMMARY: Responsible for selling Virtual Care Provider Inc. products and services to long term care and skilled nursing facilities, ACLF decision makers, and other referral sources in an assigned territory. Develops marketing and sales strategies and programs, perform market analysis of assigned territories, and demonstrates a clear understanding of the technology and related benefits to the customer. Demonstrates problem-solving skills and turns challenges into a selling opportunity. Works with vendors to create a dynamic selling effort, and participates in the overall enhancement and acceptance of the company’s products and services.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: SCOPE: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Identify leads, develop and cultivate relationships to sell company products and services in new and existing accounts.
2. Understand, implement, and track accounts through the Sales Funnel.
3. Utilize the contact management software application used by the company.
4. Take the lead in coordinating sales efforts in key accounts, such as SNFs and ACLFs.
5. Organize and plan sales objectives consistent with corporate sales program goals, and within budget guidelines. Develop and close sales activities.
6. Work with contract staff to maximize referrals for contracted accounts in assigned territory.
7. Participate in market analysis activities; keep current on trends in the healthcare community and referral markets. Track reimbursement trends and practices, as well as product and service bundling opportunities.
8. Conduct training programs on products and services of the company to appropriate referral sources and customers.
9. Assist in training and orienting new sales staff when requested.
10. Maintain accurate records as company property. Prepare and sub
mit timely reports and accurate expense records.
11. Educate referral sources and key decision-makers on the company’s activities relative to products. Collaborate with product line managers to assure accurate and appropriate representation and position of product line sales.
12. Develop, recommend and implement innovative selling ideas, methods and action plans, and assist in developing new business opportunities.
13. Participate in sales meetings and account reviews.
14. Identify appropriate conferences and trade shows for company presentations. Staff and plan for trade shows as appropriate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
Experience: Sales experience required. Experience in long term health care is a must. Possesses some familiarity with appropriate customer environments.
