OPPORTUNITY

The medical group will be looking to add 1-2 Hospitalists at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – St. Francis Hospital.

 

There has been a Hospitalist service at St. Francis for a number of  years, and the service is well received.  We are in the process of expanding the service.  Our hospitalist team consists of:

·        Jas Sundlass, M.D., (also medical director of service)

·        Aref Sobhani, M.D.

·        Moshood Lawal, M.D.

·        Carrado Ugolini, M.D.

·        Ram Saladi, M.D.

 

Dr. Sundlass has been working as a Hospitalist in Green Bay for the past twenty years, and brings a wealth of experience to St. Francis Hospital.  Drs. Ugolini and Saladi have been working for approximately ten years, Dr. Saladi in Chicago and Dr. Ugolini at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Both Drs. Lawal and Sobhani are new graduates as of June 2007.

 

The plan calls for continuing the current schedule, with each physician working seven days on, then seven off.  Coverage is provided 24/7.

 

Shifts are from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

 

During the day shift, the Hospitalist can expect anywhere from 12-15 patients, while the night shift will be from 5-8 patient encounters.  

 

New admissions per day to the Hospitalist service average between 4 and 8.
