This position is based in San Bruno, CA.

YouTube, a Google company, is looking for a Online Operations Coordinator.

Do you have a passion for Google products and services? Do you excel at responding to customer concerns with helpful, creative solutions? Google is looking for enthusiastic, web-savvy individuals to evaluate content and support our users on YouTube.com. You will help build a team of proactive, passionate, and dedicated individuals. Use your love of the Internet and analytical skills to master Google policies and then assist us in building a high-quality content network and support department. This position will give you exposure to the world of Google including its business model, customer focus, and systems and operations.

Coordinators work with users of Google products, helping them meet their goals by providing excellent customer service via email. Additionally, you may be responsible for synthesizing and communicating product feedback to product management and engineering teams leading to continuous improvements of our products. Google is looking for team members who are self starters, comfortable with a rapidly changing environment, and have a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Review user-reported content for policy compliance.
  • Approve or disapprove accounts based on program criteria.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our YouTube users.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries by email.
  • Troubleshoot various customer problems related to product usage.
  • Interpret customer feedback, monitor customer satisfaction and drive programs to improve.
  • Collaborate with specialists, engineering and product teams on new feature development.
  • Manage analytical or special projects to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to complete a large volume of work quickly.
  • Very comfortable with navigating and using the Internet.
  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal and solution-oriented attitude
  • Customer or client service experience a plus.
  • Basic HTML and JavaScript skills a plus.
