Thank you for your interest in Pfizer's Summer Student Worker Program (SWP). This program is jointly managed by Pfizer and Atrium Staffing. The SWP provides short-term student work to support Pfizer's business needs during the summer months. The program seeks to add value to the business through staff augmentation to accomplish departmental goals while offering practical and valuable business experience to the student participant. Students are hired as contractors for the summer.
How do I know if I'm eligible to apply?
In order to be eligible, you must:
When do the assignments begin and end?
Typically, the assignments start in May and last throughout the summer, depending on your availability.
Can I apply to multiple positions?
You may apply to more than one position however we ask that you apply only to positions that best represent your interests. All eligible applicants will be considered for opportunities within the program based on your background, interests, and geographical location. We encourage you to submit a cover letter to provide highlights related to your experience and interests. Please also note that the job listings provided on this portal only represent the types of positions that will be available; they are not the actual positions to be filled.
If I apply, when will I know if I am selected?
Given the limited spaces and volume of applicants, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that all applicants will be placed. We conduct interviews on a rolling basis; students are contacted if they are selected by managers for an interview. Applicants who are not selected for a position will be notified via email by mid-May.
Where are the assignments located?
Pfizer has locations throughout the US and the on line application process will ask what location you can work in. ***Please note Pfizer will not provide any financial assistance for travel or housing to students in this program.***
If I participated in the program in the past, can I apply again for this summer?
Students can participate in the Summer Student Worker Program for a maximum of two summers. Students who have applied previously would need to reapply in order to be considered for the 2015 SWP.
