Some new features this time and further
refinements to the search engine.
The multiple database text search is now functional. A really cool
twist is that when you click on a search result, you are logged instantly
into the DB that contains the results. You can then place items on
rollup lists, the lists being the list in the database that you are
visiting.
User requests led to the following changes:
- From a Sendout, you can jump to the JO, the Company, and the Candidate.
- There is a button on the keyword screen that copies the company
keywords to the candidate. This allows the name and company to be
coded the same when needed with minimal work, but does not dilute
the search by giving everyone in a company skills they may not have.
- There is an item for toll free phone numbers on the front screen.
Keep the ideas flowing, also another note about BACKUPS
A database is not like a word file, because it changes all of the
time. Your backups are dated the second you do more work. That's why
you MUST keep multiple backups in multiple locations. Save them from
different times, so you that you can go back in time if you need to.
JUST DO IT. It's easy, cheap, and if you don't do it????
