The main change in this update is
a revision of the name and company notes screens. Now only new notes
are indexed. You can unlock the existing notes for editing, just as
with the resume.
In the past, whenever you made changes to a note, all the notes were
reindexed. This was a time kill on huge databases, but not too big
an issue on normal sized db's.
To change an old note, just click unlock and type your changes.
Type new notes in the upper text box. When you close the window, the
notes will save. This also gives the benefit of not having to scroll
to the end of the notes to add a note.
These changes have been applied to the keyword screens as well. I.e
you can add new keywords and only the new ones will be indexed, unless
you unlock the existing keywords and change them.
Another cool feature is on the company front screen, The former e
mail field is now a combined e mail and web site field. If you enter
an e mail address and click on it, it will launch your e mail. If
its a www address, it will launch your browser. Of course, you may
make unlimited custom fields for the same purpose, just not visible
