Hello PCR users. We have nine or so
changes for you this time.
On the resume screen, you may now adjust the margins when a header
is selected. This will allow the resume to print into Word correctly.
This option can be found under "page setup" in the bottom
left corner.
You may now add the names of people who have sendouts to a rollup
list directly from the view activities screen. This will allow you
to print the "roll up report" from the rollup screen.
And THAT allows you to have a short report with the phone numbers
and other vitals of the people you have on sendouts, want to follow
up with, etc..
Along that line, you now also may e mail the sendout confirmation
by clicking the email button on the sendout screen, This will make
a mail for the primary contact and for the candidate that lists
all of the particulars for a given sendout.
Also new is a preference (adjusted on user records) that will copy
all sendout activity information to each contact on the Job Order
involved. In the past, this information would only be copied to
the primary contact on a Job, not the whole contact list.
With this version, some company info is copied to the job order
when the order is saved.
Company info is also now available as a "profile" or
thumbnail, just as name info is when the "show profile"
option is invoked.
By popular demand.or perhaps the screaming of the masses, we now
have a duplicate record finder. If you look under the menu "reports/auditing
reports", duplicates, you will find a dropdown that will allow
you to find and jump to duplicates by several criteria. Once found,
you may merge or delete the duplicates as needed.
We have separated the buttons and graphic elements of the program
from the executable file. This has several desirable benefits. One
is that the program itself is smaller, thus loading faster and having
less chance of error all of the way around. Another is that we can
choose, modify, and alter the look and many of the labels of PCR
with ease.
Once we had this feature, we set our web designers to work on some
new looks for PCR. We have a Western theme, a Space theme, a Romanesque
theme, and others. You can download them from our site, and they
install just as an update does. This allows you to change PCR for
a bit of fun, or to make a look that you may like, or to just change
it for the sake of relieving the boredom you may feel staring at
this software all day, every day !
And finally, lest you not hasten that time noted in John 9:4, ("that
night cometh, when no man can work") get yourself a hearty
backup today. If you are not sure what to backup, and where to back
it up to, or how often to do it, please contact Main Sequence or
your reseller and get the information you need.
