Here are the update notes for the
latest version:
The best new addition is the ability to create an Interview directly
from the Name screen. When you click on the handshake icon, you
can click ADD and select from a job list and create the Interview
pre-loaded with the candidate information. This saves a lot of clicks.
A new feature that may be very useful is the ability to create
Activities for other users. To do this, just make an activity as
normal and select the three dotted button to choose the user you
want. In the future, when you want to see all activities that were
made by other users for you, you can filter your activites search
by the activity type "OTHERUSER".
Another new addition is a fix for the 'bulk email to rollup' feature.
As of the current version, only unique e-mails addresses will be
sent from a list. Previously, PCRecruiter would send multiple mails
to the same address if it appeared on the rollup more than once.
You can now paste HTML items into the Attachment section of each
record. (Paste the source code, and when it saves, it will appear
as an HTML document) Note that whenever you have documents (resume,
notes, etc) that are not holding format as you would like, you can
save them as HTML and paste the source code to PCRecruiter.
You can now email Summaries and Attachments with the Interview email
feature. You can edit the text of the mail and connect those documents
to make your package - this is a long standing request.
The splits screen has been retired and its functions relocated
to the placement tab of job orders.
Please check your backups to ensure that you have the correct .mdb
files or .bak files (if you use SQL Server) and that they are being
copied to other hard drives if possible, as well as portable media.
If you use the PCR email manager or the "Set Word Doc"
function, you will need to back up the email database and the folder(s)
where the resumes were held. Both of these are set on the System
Tab/Options.
Also please keep in mind that you can ship your database(s) to Main
Sequence and run PCR Web version on our servers - the ultimate answer
to backup issues!
