My client is one of the leaders servicing the Commissary
Correctional Industry market segment with innovative products in packaged
foods, shoes, clothing, electronics, health, and beauty product lines. Through
our multiple distribution centers, my client provides nationwide services to
both the wholesale and retail segments of this unique marketplace. They are headquartered
in California, along distribution operations in Ohio and a sales office in
Texas. Continuous growth in business has created the necessity for a Regional
Sales Manager in our newly created sales office located in Jacksonville,
Florida. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Regional Sales Manager to
proactively develop and successfully lead a sales team while increasing my

The Regional Sales Manager will
be responsible for managing a sales force in an assigned territory (account
and/or geography) and will achieve the success of their individual sales plan
by building relationships, communicating, presenting, planning and forecasting.
Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager also include, but are not
limited to, the following:
managing a sales force of Account Managers
in conjunction with other Regional Sales Managers to create tactical company advantages
and developing strategic sales plans in order to accommodate corporate goals
a hands-on approach in account management, brand development, trade promotion analysis
and internal sales operations
sales territories to sales representatives, directing sales forecasting
activities and setting performance goals
periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of
proposed customer base expansions
and developing new customers, maintaining customer satisfaction with existing accounts,
increasing target lists and understanding of accounts’ buying power, decision
makers, buying processes and motivations
internal and external leadership and following through to support new projects
interviewing, hiring, training and mentoring associates
as reasonably required to visit prospects, customers, etc., and to facilitate
sales activities and meeting assigned objectives
