East Coast Regional Sales Manager-Fiber Lasers/modules

80-90k base salary plus variable compensaton to 120k+

The USA East Coast Regional Sales Manager is key to Rudzinsky Associate’s client business development in United States. His/Her main role is to identify new customers or business opportunities and develop sales in the Eastern USA and Canada. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LASERS / OPTICS / PHOTONICS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Location : Home office based in Boston or other main cities located in the East Coast of America (with periodic travels to European Headquarters)

Reporting to : US Sales Manager

His/Her objectives :

Sell fiber amplifier and laser modules (OEM) to major industrial, defense and telecommunication equipment manufacturers in higher volumes, while concurrently seeking long term OEM supplier contracts.

Seeking a strong self-starter, a “hunter”, to grow the E Coast territory. Corporate growth objectives are ambitious and aggressive, while keeping in mind ongoing product development and quality objectives.

Responsibilities :

Ensure that all sales targets are achieved.

Negotiate & close the high-volume, long term supply contracts with the major industrial, defense or telecommunications equipment manufacturers.

Increase Rudzinsky Associate’s client market share in the Test & Measurement and Scientific Sales markets.

Responsible for effectively and accurately communicating with management across the organization, ensuring effective lines of communication with Corporate HQ. Report back regularly with market, sales, competitive, and customer data and analysis.

Working with the Sales Management team contribute to and actively participate in the development and implementation of both tactical and strategic sales & marketing plans to further Corporate Sales/Business objectives.


Education : Technical background and/or Sales & Marketing diploma.
Languages : Fluent English is a pre-requisite and French would be a plus.

Track record of fostering long term and lucrative client relationships.

Well versed with presenting to clients at various levels in the client organisations (R&D, Purchasing, General Management, etc..).

A successful technical sales professional who is a “closer” with a solid market knowledge of the industrial, defense and/or telecommunication equipment marketplace for photonic/fiber-laser driven products. A similar knowledge of educational and research markets for photonics a plus. A broad based knowledge in photonics driven applications very desirable
