Job Title:              Multi-Disciplinary Mechanical Project Engineer- Thermal Analysis, Modeling, Design.

Salary Range       $90 to $120K base, plus Bonus Plan

Rudzinsky Associate's client is a growing, dynamic laser / photonics manufacturer in Southern MA / RI area looking for a Mechanical Project engineer who has skills doing thermal, modeling and analysis to electronic/electromechanical or photonics related assemblies, systems, instruments.  Our client has the energy of a start up, with the established footprint of a growing profitable company, in an expansion of new products and technologies.

Description:

Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in Thermal Analysis/Modeling, MS preferred, PhD's acceptable with practical industrial experience, or specific laser/thermal modeling background

Perform mechanical and thermal analysis to support development and sustaining activities

Experience applying Thermodynamic knowledge to assess configuration design

Experience with thermal design and test criteria for structures, subsystems, internal compartments, and component

Complex Assemblies, Materials, Fluids, Thermodynamics, Design for Manufacturability

Requirements:

-Proficient at FEA
-Proficiency in the use of SolidWorks design tools, 3D CAD

-Excellent project management skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team to quickly develop new products and new solutions to old problems.

Desired Skills:

-Simulation exerience (Structural Analysis) 
-Flow Simulation (Thermal and Fluid Flow Analysis)

-Experience w/ laser, photonic related equipment a plus

Candidates must be US Permanent Residents or US Citizens immediately eligible to work in the US.

Preference given to candidates in the greater, MA/RI area not requiring relocation.
