proprietary Micro-Optic technology with a highly scalable, automated assembly
processes to enable the highest performance optical engines for Medical
Imaging, Industrial, and Telecommunications applications.
this role you will make vital contributions to our cutting-edge products in the
rapidly growing field of Medical Imaging for cardiology and ophthalmology. You
will initiate, support, and/or lead activities related to quality, continuous
process improvement, product qualification, and reduction in cost of quality.
Work with engineering leadership to drive company level problem-solving
training and discipline.
Role and Responsibilities
engineering leadership and technical guidance to promote the achievement of
reliability, quality, cost, and delivery goals for Rudzinsky Associate’s client
optical module and engine products.
- Work with the product engineering and design teams to
teach and perform early-stage risk assessments (DFMEA etc.) and establish
reliability testing programs for products and critical components
(electrical, opto-mechanical, opto-electronic).
- Lead quality and supply chain teams in developing
sourcing strategies and qualification requirements for new components
- Coach the product development and engineering teams on
design for manufacturability and reliability. Lead the company level
activities to assure Engineering is properly incorporating elements of
reliability in the early design stages of product development.
with Engineering NPI and the manufacturing engineering teams to perform FMEA,
write work instructions, and establish quality check-points to drive towards
zero-defect quality in production.
component and design failures back to the earliest point of detection in
product issues by reviewing engineering drawings and design requirements.
a rigorous resolution process for product quality, reliability and design
company-wide Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001.
data-driven root cause failure analyses for design and manufacturing
with staff to oversee Nonconforming Material Reports, Quality Alerts, and
Corrective Action Requests, and to ensure and verify corrective action
effectiveness and timely closure.
with staff to coordinate, plan and implement process audits to monitor,
continuously improve, and sustain superior product quality.
in review and approval of process and product changes.
Skills and Experience:
than 10 years of increasing responsibility in the areas of Quality, Test
Engineering and Reliability
and working knowledge of the key elements of:
- Reliability Engineering, (e.g., MCF, MTBF, MTT, etc.)
- Manufacturing Statistical Process Control, (SPC,
Process Capability, DOE).
- Problem-solving methodology such as six-sigma Black
Belt, 8D, or Global Problem Solving.
- Familiarity with metrology, calibration, and Gage R
in product phase-gate, NPI and technology transfer.
implementing company-wide ISO 9001 procedures and related process
documentation including Quality System Auditing. Practical working
knowledge of process capability and control requirements, methods and
