Rudzinsky Associates client is a world leader in Optics, Materials, Photonics related products and technologies. Our client is seeking a dynamic, growth oriented, proven Sales & Marketing leader to bring new energy, and growth oriented leadership to it’s US / Global Optics Products business. This position could potentially have responsibility for the the Global business of our client. Selected candidates should have the appropriate level of experience and a track record of sales growth, leadership and accomplishment in Optical/Photonics Sales & Marketing. Previous sales responsibility of 5-20mm+ is desired.
The position scope and responsibility is flexible depending on the experience and seniority of candidates. Position can either be responsible for US business only, or for Global Account leadership, depending on the selected candidate’s background/experience.
Basic Purpose of Job:
The Director of Sales and Marketing position reports to Rudzinsky Associate’s
The Director of Sales & Marketing will provide sales and market information in the US/Globally including competitive, customer and business analysis and support for RA’s Client’s Global Director of Optics Sales and RA’s client’s US President in order to increase sales and profitability for both organizations. The Director of Sales & Marketing will provide recommendations to senior management for optimal sales/marketing strategies, and be responsible for implementation of those approved strategies.
This position requires market/business research into strategies for market penetration, new product penetration, and strategic planning/implementation for increasing market share with existing key accounts and identifying new accounts.
Performance is measured by the results of sales and associated activities. In addition, performance will be measured on the success of new account penetration based on mutually agreed upon targets, successful new product penetration, and the dollar value of new business opportunities in Optics as well as profitability targets
