Your Role: Category Marketing Manager
The incumbent would be responsible for participating in the brand strategy & plans to make the category an ‘ icon’ & champion the innovation process to deliver the 5 year objectives, you would be the brand owner for the region, lead the team to deliver annual brand goals i.e. Market share & net sales profitably, a distinctive & meaningful Brand equity, own the marketing mix. You would be responsible for brand strategy & Consumer value creation, define the key success factors for winning based on a thorough understanding of the 4 c’s (Consumer, Competition, Customer & Company capabilities). Lead the brand team in developing an annual brand marketing plan and making it happen. Measure results of plan vs. objective. Formalize learning’s on all plans/initiatives via an annual business review.
Ensure results & learning’s are shared across the key functions (Sales, Finance, Production, R&D) & used for future plan development. Define performance plan & development plan that will lead to career growth of the reporting team.
The scope of this role is extensive and multifaceted, spanning analysis, strategic planning, execution and the management of multiple stakeholders.
Formal Marketing qualification (MBA from reputed institution) with 8 to 10 years experience in FMCG industry with at least 3 in years in a managerial position. Excellent management experience and background required
