This week Main Sequence will be updating PCRecruiter with configurable record cards for names, companies, and jobs, which will shortcut action from the Recently Viewed records list and Quick Find.
This week Main Sequence will be updating PCRecruiter with configurable record cards for names, companies, and jobs, which will shortcut action from the Recently Viewed records list and Quick Find.
Our PCRecruiter.net hosted users will notice a change this week to the Recently Viewed record ‘cards,’ as well as the similar cards that appear when using the Quick Find box in the upper right corner of PCRecruiter.
With this new update, users can choose two lines of field data to accompany the name, company name, or job title, plus up to eight user-selected action icons. This new configuration option saves you clicks, allowing you to access key actions for your candidates, clients, departments, and jobs such as sending emails, linking applicants to openings, submitting profile forms, adding activities, and so forth without opening the full record first.

PCR Capture, the contact capturing browser plugin available to all PCR users, has been updated this week with two new functions to help you add and update contacts more quickly in your PCR database. If you already have Capture installed, it should be updated automatically by your browser.

When does this actually become available to use?
The goal is Wednesday, pending any last-minute issues. Each update patch also includes a roster of tweaks and fixes, so if any of those fail testing it might hold the update for a day or two while they get resolved. We don’t see anything of concern right now though, so tomorrow is looking good!
the configurable record cards are GREAT. Can you add the ability to put CUSTOM FIELDS on them and not just predefined ones as you have now?
We love them too! And yes, Custom Fields are on the list of items to consider for future improvements to them.
