PCRecruiter 9.7.23 adds support for creating Notes for contacts from the PCR Capture utility, along with many performance enhancements and issue resolutions. See our blog for details on this and other recent improvements.
The PCRecruiter hosted servers are being updated today with a new release that includes dozens of performance improvements and issue resolutions, covering a wide range of areas in PCRecruiter, including our Analytics, Candidate Presentations, Rollup Stages, and more.
Although this update is largely dedicated to work on our existing features, we have added one new feature with this update.
Those of you who use PCR Capture will find a new Additional Notes box at the bottom of the ‘Review Data’ step. Any text added to this box will appear in the NOTES section on the Name record.
This new feature in PCR Capture is a great way to augment new records or update existing ones with keyword-searchable details as you go about your sourcing tasks online.
This update also lays some groundwork for new partnerships and announcements to come in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes on our blog and social networks.

The PCRecruiter system has been updated today, and the most noticeable change you’ll find is the replacement of our ‘Quick Find’ feature with a new ‘Quick Search’. This search box appears in the upper right hand corner of the PCR screen.

Awesome. It would be really great if the notes are among the first things you see when you click on a record either in PCR or LINKEDIN. Maybe the notes would hover on the page somewhere so you could see if you have already contacted them without looking at the record itself and scrolling to the notes. This would save incredible time. There is a service I am using right now ‘Cricket Dialer’ or Dolphin and it allows me to download an excel sheet and make a list where my dialer will dial the number. If I get voice mail, I merely say: “Hello Name” and press a button and the voice mail I created prior will be left and frees me to move onto the next candidate call. Ive gotten more than 300 calls out in a day with this method. I need the rollups to work with the dialer without dowloading it to ecell and so I can leave the notes and map the legend in the rollup it self. You get these technologies together and I may come work for you and sell it as the most powerful recruiting tool on the market. (some other ideas would go in as well)

Also is there talks of making rollups accessible on the App?
If you’re talking about our mobile app, yes, the roadmap includes some features for rollup, activity, and pipeline interactions. We’ll be posting here on the blog when it’s ready of course!
This is a great feature. I just wish you would get the feature request to be able to search by name added to the capture tool. I put that request in over a year ago.
If you haven’t already, make sure that request is posted in the ideas forum at https://help.pcrecruiter.com. We do have the PCR Match feature in Capture, which will search the database for the first/last name of the person you’re currently viewing.
